1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the MEDS-LINK platform, available notably at meds-link.com, together with the features made available to its users.
Use of the platform and, where required, creation of an account constitute acceptance of these Terms.
Certain services may also be governed by specific terms, a quotation, a contract or separate commercial conditions. In the event of any conflict, the specific provisions applicable to the relevant service shall prevail.
2. Services
MEDS-LINK is a platform dedicated to medical recruitment and the international professional mobility of healthcare professionals.
Depending on the services and features available, the platform may notably provide:
- creation and management of professional profiles;
- publication and consultation of professional opportunities;
- connections between healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions or organisations;
- search, selection and profile-to-opportunity matching tools;
- access to digital functionalities and, where provided, functionalities using artificial intelligence technologies;
- access to certain complementary services or solutions offered or presented by MEDS-LINK.
Availability may vary depending on the country, user category and evolution of the platform.
Technology or artificial intelligence-based tools do not replace users' professional judgement and do not guarantee recruitment, employment, authorisation to practise or registration with a professional authority.
3. Registration and User Accounts
Registration is notably available to healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions or organisations meeting the requirements applicable to the relevant service.
Users undertake to provide accurate, truthful, complete and up-to-date information.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity carried out through their accounts, except in cases of fraudulent use beyond their control.
MEDS-LINK may request supporting documentation to verify professional information or a user's identity where such verification is necessary for the operation or security of the service.
Accounts containing manifestly false, fraudulent or impersonated information may be suspended or terminated in accordance with these Terms.
4. User Obligations
Users undertake, in particular, to:
- provide truthful and up-to-date information;
- refrain from impersonating any third party;
- refrain from creating or using false profiles;
- preserve the confidentiality of information to which they gain access;
- respect the rights of other users and third parties;
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- refrain from using the platform for fraudulent, unlawful, discriminatory or abusive purposes;
- refrain from attempting to circumvent security mechanisms or access restrictions;
- refrain from interfering with the technical operation of the service;
- refrain from extracting, copying or reusing platform data without authorisation.
Healthcare professionals and institutions remain responsible for the checks required of them concerning qualifications, diplomas, licences to practise, professional registrations, employment requirements and other applicable regulatory obligations.
5. Introductions and Recruitment
MEDS-LINK facilitates connections between healthcare professionals and institutions or organisations offering professional opportunities.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, MEDS-LINK is not a party to any employment agreement, collaboration agreement, professional practice agreement or other arrangement concluded between users following an introduction.
Each party remains responsible for its own checks and decisions.
Creation of an account, presentation of a profile, use of a matching tool or application for an opportunity does not guarantee recruitment, employment, collaboration or the granting of any administrative or professional authorisation.
6. Paid Services and Payments
Certain features or services may be subject to payment.
Prices and payment arrangements are specified in the relevant quotation, contract or specific terms applicable to the service concerned.
7. Platform Availability and Changes
MEDS-LINK endeavours to maintain the availability and proper operation of the platform.
Temporary interruptions may nevertheless occur, including for maintenance, security, updates or technical circumstances beyond MEDS-LINK's control.
MEDS-LINK may develop, add, modify or discontinue certain features, subject to any contractual commitments applicable to paid services.
8. Liability
MEDS-LINK provides recruitment and introduction services together with digital tools intended to facilitate professional processes.
MEDS-LINK does not guarantee the successful completion of a recruitment process, the accuracy of all information supplied by users, or the granting of a licence to practise, visa, recognition of qualifications or professional registration.
Each user remains responsible for their decisions and for the information they provide.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MEDS-LINK shall not be liable for contractual relationships entered into directly between users or for losses resulting from use of the platform contrary to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Suspension and Termination
Users may request closure of their account or use the relevant function where available within their account.
Closure of an account does not affect any contractual or financial obligations that remain outstanding in relation to services already ordered.
MEDS-LINK may suspend or terminate an account in particular in cases of:
- breach of these Terms;
- fraud or attempted fraud;
- identity theft or impersonation;
- unlawful use of the platform;
- threats to the security of the platform or other users;
- or where such action is required to comply with a legal obligation.
Where circumstances permit, the user may be informed of the reason for the action taken.
10. Personal Data
The processing of personal data in connection with the platform is described in the MEDS-LINK Privacy Policy.
Users are invited to review that policy before using the services.
11. Intellectual Property
Use of the platform does not grant users any ownership rights in MEDS-LINK, the platform, its content, or any technology, trademarks or other protected material made available through it.
Rights relating to content or information uploaded by users remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and to the permissions necessary for operation of the service.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Certain functions may rely on services provided by third parties.
Use of those services may be subject to the third parties' own terms and conditions.
MEDS-LINK cannot be held responsible for the operation of third-party services where they are outside its control.
13. Changes to these Terms
MEDS-LINK may amend these Terms, including to reflect changes to its services, legal obligations, security measures or technical operation.
The date of the latest update is displayed at the beginning of this document.
Where a material change affects the rights or obligations of registered users, appropriate notice may be provided through the platform or by another suitable means.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory provisions that apply irrespective of the parties' choice of law.
Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules that may apply, the competent courts of Limassol, Cyprus, shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
Where possible, the parties are encouraged to seek an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
